# Duplicate a NPG line item

If your line item includes multiple deals and you require precise spent distribution, use the "Duplicate Line Item" feature. Creates a functional copy of an existing line item within a campaign. Allows reuse of targeting, budget, or configuration without starting from scratch.

In the Media buying section, on the line item you want to duplicate : click on the duplicate icon on the left:

A copy of he previous line item is created automatically with the same data.

#### Auto-naming logic

| First copy | `[Original name] COPY` |
| --- | --- |
| "COPY" already exists | `[Original name] COPY (2)` |
| "COPY (2)" already exists | `[Original name] COPY (3)` … |

- Day parting
- Associated deals
- Triggers
- Assignment type
- Pacing strategy
- Daily & hourly capping
- Boost CPM
- Displayce geocoded region
- Targeting (segment + validated frames)
- Creatives and the ON/OFF status

### FAQ

**Can a LI be duplicated to another campaign?**

→ No, standalone duplication copies within the same campaign only. Cross-campaign copy is only possible via full campaign duplication.

**Is the duplicated LI immediately active?**

→ No, it is created in DRAFT status and requires validation before delivery.
