Create a private deal by Deal ID and verify it's correctly linked to your agency seat, for both standard SSPs and SSPs with Deal API.

How to create a private deal with deal ID

If you request a private deal for publishers using the following SSP: VIOOH, Vistar, MyAdBooker, Dax. The deals should also be created in the DSP.

Before the creation, make sure that you have the following information ready:

  • Deal ID
  • CPM
  • Frames ID

To create a new deal via deal ID:

  1. Copy / Paste the exact same Deal ID as shared by the publisher. If the Deal ID is not matching the one created by the publisher, the campaign will not receive any bid requests.
  2. Enter the deal name as provided by the publisher or you can enter your own. It should at least contains the name of the publisher + Agency and / or Advertiser + Venue type if needed
  3. Select the publisher.
  4. Select the SSP of the publisher.
  5. The deal is active and private by default
  6. The start date should always been the date of the day. Otherwise the deal won't appear in the line item. End date is the one of the deal set up by the publisher.
  7. Enter the CPM Bid floor (you will still be able to bid higher in the line item if needed if the deal is not a fixed rate) and the currency
  8. Select the auction type. If you do not know which auction type to select, choose FirstPrice by default
  9. Select your Agency and the Advertiser
  10. Copy / Paste the frames ID included in the deal. Be careful : Only frames ID should be entered, not the Frames names. if the frames space is left blank all the frames of the inventory available in our DSP will be entered by default.
  11. Save.
  12. It can take few moments for the deal to appear on the platform

Focus on private deal by deal API

How to ensure your private deal is correctly linked to your agency seat

When you create a deal in the deal form (for SSPs without Deal API), the deal is automatically linked to your agency seat by default. However, when a media owner creates a deal via an SSP with a Deal API ( Broadsign or Phenix), the deal is automatically pushed into the DSP. In this case, you need to ensure it has been properly associated with your agency seat.

How to verify the mapping

  1. Go to your Deal Library
  2. Search for the Deal ID you are looking for

Only Deal IDs linked to your agency seat will appear in the results.

  • If the Deal ID does not appear, even though it is visible at the line item level, it likely means the deal is not correctly linked to your agency seat.

What to do if it is not linked

Please contact the media owner or SSP and request that the deal be linked to your agency seat.
Displayce cannot modify the deals for SSP with deals API.
Our CSM team is also available to support you if needed.

If the deal is not correctly associated with your agency seat, it becomes visible to all users of the DSP.

Our commitment

We are actively working with our SSP partners to improve the quality of synchronized deal data. In the meantime, our team remains available to help you identify and filter out non-relevant deals within your scope.
