Audience targeting – Displayce Audience Segments
Enhance the performance of your campaigns with our proprietary Audience Data, available directly within our DSP. This data provides powerful audience targeting capabilities, allowing you to reach the right people at the right place — all while respecting the highest standards of privacy.
What is our Audience Data?
Our Audience Data offers cookieless, privacy-compliant targeting based on aggregated geographic, temporal, and behavioral signals.
It enables advertisers to refine their DOOH campaigns using socio-demographic profiles and behavioral insights derived from public, social, and contextual data sources.
The solution is:
- 100% GDPR compliant
- PII-free (no personally identifiable information)
- Built for accuracy and future-proof activation
Geographic Availability
Our Audience Data is currently available in the following markets:

Two Main Data Categories
Our audience segments are organized into two main categories:
👉 Profiles and Behaviors
Each category offers a different layer of targeting capability, allowing you to adapt your strategy depending on your campaign objectives.
🧍 Profiles — Socio-demographic data
The Profiles category focuses on the demographic and structural characteristics of your target audience.
These segments allow you to refine targeting by socio-demographic traits such as:
- Age Range
- Area type
- Education
- Employment Status
- Gender
- Household composition
- Origin & Ethnicity
Profiles data is built from aggregated and anonymized datasets, ensuring representativity and statistical reliability across defined geographic areas.
💬 Behaviors — Interest & Lifestyle Data
The Behaviors category leverages social listening insights to understand what people are interested in and how they engage with topics and brands online.
This data identifies behavioral affinities, interests, and lifestyle indicators — all aggregated at geo-level for DOOH activation.
Example categories include:
- Sports & Outdoors
- Food & Drink
- Entertainment
- Live events
- Technology & Consumer electronics
- Business & Industry
- Shopping and fashion
These segments allow advertisers to reach audiences based on real-world and online behaviors observed in specific regions.
Available in Austria only (not available in Switzerland at this stage).
Methodology Behind the Data
Our data relies on geo-temporal modeling to identify where and when target audiences are most concentrated.
The process combines:
- Geographic clustering: grouping anonymized signals by location (e.g., postal codes, urban areas).
- Temporal analysis: integrating time-based data to understand audience movement patterns.
- Cross-referencing socio-demographic and behavioral indicators to build relevant, privacy-safe audience segments.
This methodology ensures high accuracy and contextual relevance, with no use of cookies or personal identifiers.
How to Set Up Audience Targeting in the DSP
- Create or edit a Line Item (the line item has to be set up in the countries where the data is available)
- At the step 2
- Under Audience data, choose your segment(s) from one or both of the following categories: Profiles / Behaviors
- You can adjust the score and the number of screens using the slider to fine-tune how strongly a segment influences your targeting

Can I Combine Several Segments?
Yes, you can select multiple segments in your targeting setup.
However, please note that our system aggregates audiences — it does not create intersections between multiple segments.
AND logic (default)
If you select “Profiles > Total female population” AND “Food & Drink > Coffee”, you will target screens that over-index on both “Total female population” and “Coffee” audiences at the same time — but not specifically women who are interested in coffee (no audience intersection is created).
OR logic
If you select “Profiles > Total female population” OR “Food & Drink > Coffee”, you will target screens over-indexing on either “Profiles > Total female population” or “Food & Drink > Coffee” audiences.
