Viewer Role: a Read-Only access to the platform

We’re introducing a new user role — Viewer — to help agencies manage access securely and effectively. It provides a read-only access to the platform, ideal for demos, training, and internal stakeholders who don’t need editing permissions.

Why this role exists

  • Prevent unintentional changes for published 'items' (campaigns, line items, deals...)

  • Allow safe access for demos and training

  • Offer a lighter role for users who don't operate campaigns

Who should be a Viewer?

The Viewer role is best suited for:

  • New joiners who need to explore the platform safely

  • External stakeholders needing visibility only

  • Teams who need to consult data without modifying campaigns

What can a Viewer do?

Viewers have access to all platform modules in read-only mode:

  • Browse campaigns, advertisers, line items, and deals

  • View reports dashboards

  • Check campaign setups and targeting parameters

  • Create drafts campaigns, but cannot publish them

What can’t a Viewer do?

To avoid any accidental edits, Viewers cannot:

  • Modify, pause, or delete existing campaigns or line items

  • Publish a draft campaign/line item

  • Purchase a service
  • Create new deals, edit existing deals

  • Invite new users or manage user roles

How to assign the Viewer role

To invite a new user as a Viewer:

  1. Go to Manage Users

  2. Click “+ Invite”

  3. Enter the user’s email address

  4. Select Viewer as the role

  5. Send Invitation

To change the role of an existing user:

  1. Go to Manage Users

  2. Locate the user

  3. Use the dropdown next to their role

  4. Select Viewer

  5. Confirm your changes

Only users with Admin permissions can perform these operations.
